Corporate News | Embracing the "Cloud" Era - Futong Participates in the "Data Center and Computer Room Construction" Forum

On March 27th, the "2015 Data Center and Computer Room Construction Forum," organized by the Network Operations and Management Magazine under the CCID Group, was held in Beijing. Futong, recognized as an outstanding achievement enterprise in the "China Informatization 30 Years: User Satisfaction Survey and Selection" event, was invited to participate in this conference.

So far, the "Data Center and Computer Room Construction Forum" has been held for the seventh time, with this edition themed "Integrating Cloud Centers, Green Cloud Ecology." The conference began with a welcome speech by Mr. Sun Haofeng, the deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine, followed by keynote speeches by Editor-in-Chief Mr. Liu Jinping and industry experts. The experts and scholars at the meeting all discussed that in the past traditional enterprise IT architecture, the main issue the enterprise IT system addressed was who and through what means entered the system, which was relatively simple from an application perspective. Nowadays, with the development of cloud computing and mobile internet, as well as the increasing migration of SaaS enterprise applications to the cloud, the boundaries of enterprise IT systems have greatly expanded and become blurred, presenting many clear issues, such as shadow IT, decreased control power—the IT department losing control, the phenomenon of mutual accusations escalating, and the increasing complexity of enterprise IT. How to build modular data centers, use decentralized construction to achieve concentration, break through geographical, equipment, and application boundaries, and better solve these problems while deeply integrating "cloud" with business systems, the participating companies have each provided their own solutions.

Futong shared its independently developed Comprehensive Management Cloud Platform and Jiumen Series Software at the conference, and through on-site Q&A with visitors, it indicated that cloud computing has become an inevitable trend in the future development of IT, and cloud computing centers will also become the inevitable direction for future data centers. Futong's solutions are aimed at cloud computing as the goal, data centers as the means, and computer room construction as the foothold, with physical dispersion and logical centralization.
