She is Dr. Rui Rui Li, the Chief Architect at Genesis AI Lab of Futong Dongfang. Recently, another award has been added to Rui Rui Li 's list of honors. The "Key Technologies and Applications of Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment Based on Hybrid Cloud Architecture," which she led to completion, has just received the Second Prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Invention Award at the 10th ceremony.

"The development and application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of healthcare have become an important technical means to alleviate the shortage and uneven distribution of medical resources in our country, improve the quality of patient services, increase diagnostic and treatment efficiency, and innovate the intelligent service system of hospitals," Dr. Rui Rui Li said in an interview. She pointed out that the medical industry in our country has long been plagued by issues such as uneven distribution of medical resources, a large gap between the supply and demand of physician resources, a high rate of misdiagnoses and missed diagnoses, and low quality and satisfaction of patient services.

In her view, artificial intelligence technology is an important means to solve the practical problems faced by humanity. With the empowerment of artificial intelligence technology, all industries are experiencing a new lease of life, and it has brought surprise after surprise to human society.

 

Dr. Rui Rui Li gave an example, scheduling is a routine operational management task in hospitals. It has always been something that seems simple but is actually very complex. For the scheduler, the reasonableness of the schedule directly relates to the matching of duties and the personal interests of the staff.

 

West China Hospital, serving as a national center for the diagnosis and treatment of critical and complicated diseases in Western China, has a particularly busy emergency department. The current manual scheduling model requires the scheduling officer to communicate offline with rotating doctors, making it difficult to track the dynamic data of the rotating doctors. At the same time, the scheduling rules are quite complex, and the number of rotating doctors is huge, which requires the scheduling officer to spend a considerable amount of time to formulate a qualified schedule plan.

 

Rui Rui Li led her team to develop an intelligent scheduling system based on their multi-objective resource optimization platform, taking the offline duty process of the emergency department at West China Hospital as the foundation. They formed a unified information system for doctors and scheduling data, and combined with the actual situation of the doctors, dynamically matched business rules to design an information management system aimed at meeting the scheduling requirements of doctors and emergency department positions.

 

The system developed is based on the multi-objective resource optimization algorithm platform, which is an enterprise-level resource planning and scheduling platform developed by Futong Dongfang Genesis AI Lab. Originating from multi-objective optimization theory, it is primarily aimed at resource allocation and planning and scheduling problems. For the first time, it combines multi-objective optimization theory, AI algorithms, and knowledge reasoning technology to construct multi-objective decision-making optimization models for various business scenarios, obtaining precise and feasible optimization solutions within a specified time, solving multi-constraint multi-objective optimization decision-making problems.

 

Daring To Tackle Challenges, Using AI To Comprehensively Enhance The Intelligent Level Of Airport Resource Management

 

Speaking about her work, Rui Rui Li said to a reporter from Science Daily: "Being at the forefront of AI, I must approach my work with an attitude of perfection, studying diligently and striving for excellence." Indeed, she practices what she preaches. With the significant increase in passenger and cargo throughput at the Capital International Airport, the continuous expansion of transportation scale, and the rising pressure it bears, the airport hopes to transform its original ground resource operation mechanism by building an intelligent resource management system. This system aims to achieve full-process visualization and digital management, as well as on-demand customization of resource management functions, thereby comprehensively enhancing the efficiency of resource management.

 

Time is efficiency, and the task is the mission. Under her leadership, the Genesis AI Lab of Futong Dongfang, based on its multi-objective resource optimization algorithm platform and in conjunction with the business innovation and upgrade demands of the airport, has built the Intelligent Resource Management System (iRMS system) for the Capital Airport. This move has broken the long-standing reliance on imported software products for RMS systems in large domestic airports. "On the basis of ensuring the safety and controllability of airport operations, changing the traditional optimization mechanism for airport ground resources and achieving full-process visualization and automated management of smart airport operational resources in a complex environment with many conflicting rules is an extremely challenging task," Rui Rui said. On one hand, it is necessary to support the management and dispatch of all apron resources, gate resources, baggage carousel resources, and check-in counter resources at the airport, and to promptly publish the status of resource scheduling and usage to the outside world. On the other hand, it is also necessary to support intelligent resource allocation and to support the analysis, statistics, and sandbox simulation of the allocation effects.

 

The Next Ambitious Goal Is To Empower The Winter Olympics With AI Achievements, Enhancing The Smart Winter Olympics

 

During the interview, the reporter learned that Rui Rui Li 's team is participating in the smart medical support for the Winter Olympics. My intuition tells me that there must be some extraordinary stories behind this.

 

Sure enough, Rui Rui Li told the reporter that in addition to the identities introduced earlier, she also has a special role as the director of the project guidance office for the "Key Technologies for Smart Medical Support at the Winter Olympics." According to her, the project has already applied multiple artificial intelligence technologies, such as knowledge graphs, expert recommendations, 5G, robotics, digital middleware, and graphic image medical imaging technologies, to provide efficient and precise medical support for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
