Focusing On The Technological Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics is a stage for ice and snow athletes to compete, as well as a platform for the application of scientific and technological achievements. To organize a brilliant, extraordinary, and outstanding Olympic event, the key special projects of the Technological Winter Olympics must not only overcome core technologies and demonstrate cutting-edge technologies but also promote the popularization of winter sports and the development of the sports industry. The "Winter Olympics Smart Medical Support Key Technology" project, in collaboration with the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, conducted in-depth discussions and tested the application during the test events, aiming to empower the smart Winter Olympics with technological forces such as artificial intelligence and big data.

On March 15, 2021, the "Winter Olympics Smart Medical Support Key Technology" project, led by the Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated with the Capital Medical University, held a promotion meeting for the application of test event trials. Leaders from the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and other competent authorities, guiding experts from the project's expert committee, leaders of various topics, and representatives from participating units attended the meeting. The meeting actively responded to the call for epidemic prevention and control by combining on-site attendance with remote video participation.

The "Winter Olympics Smart Medical Support Key Technology" project, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, is one of the key special projects under the national key research and development plan "Science and Technology Winter Olympics". Futong Dongfang, as a participating enterprise in the project, along with leaders, experts, and representatives from participating units present, focused on discussing the research progress, system integration, and application testing docking for the 2021 Beijing Winter Olympics series of test events.

During the meeting, Dr. Rui Rui Li, the director of the project's overall guidance group office, reported on the organization of the project, the arrangement of test event applications, budget execution, and other related situations. Each topic leader reported on the research and development progress, phased results, system integration, application testing arrangements and docking situations, existing problems, and the next steps in the work plan. At the same time, in-depth discussions and exchanges were held on the arrangement and docking of the test events for each topic.

After listening to the overall project and sub-topic work reports, the attending leaders from the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and the guiding experts from the project's expert committee discussed the demand docking of this project with the test events and offered many valuable opinions and suggestions on the progress of the project.
