Corporate News | Futong Dongfang's Participation In A Special Project Of The National Key Research and Development Plan Led By The Ministry Of Science And Technology Has Been Approved For Initiation

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the key special projects for the "Basic Scientific Research Conditions and Major Scientific Instrument Equipment Development" under the National Key Research and Development Plan for 2021. The project "Intelligent Analysis and Mining Key Technologies and Demonstration Applications for PB-level Multi-source Health and Science Big Data," led by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications with the participation of Futong Dongfang, was approved for initiation.

It is reported that the "Intelligent Analysis and Mining Key Technologies and Demonstration Applications for PB-level Multi-source Health and Scientific Big Data" project, which mainly addresses three scientific issues: "privacy protection and security in the convergence of multi-source health and wellness big data," "separation of evidence-based medical knowledge from health and wellness big data mining," and "low accuracy and efficiency in auxiliary interpretation, extraction, and annotation of multi-modal health and wellness big data," has been approved for initiation. The project aims to break through key technologies such as "large-scale intelligent semantic search and visualization," "cross-domain sharing of health and wellness scientific big data," "mining of multi-disease and population characteristic health and wellness scientific big data," "auxiliary interpretation of medical imaging, intelligent extraction and annotation of clinical medical records," and "security perception and automatic construction of multi-disease knowledge graphs." It will develop a convergence management and integrated collaborative intelligent analysis platform and several tool software for PB-level health and wellness scientific big data, achieving intelligent analysis and mining applications of health and wellness scientific big data.


Futong Dongfang will focus on participating in the research of the topic "Automatic Construction and Intelligent Interpretation of Knowledge Graphs for Multi-modal Health and Scientific Big Data." In this topic, the team undertakes the task of automatically constructing knowledge graphs for multiple diseases, including the research path of "multi-modal medical data acquisition → multi-source knowledge representation learning → information extraction → knowledge fusion → causal knowledge graph construction → knowledge graph updating." Following the human-in-the-loop and active learning paradigms, a knowledge graph construction tool will be formed to achieve the construction of causal knowledge graphs covering multiple diseases. Additionally, the team is also involved in the development of an intelligent management system for health and scientific big data based on causal knowledge graphs, responsible for the intelligent semantic search module to assist in clinical decision-making searches.
